Our programs are exciting, effective and fun! They’re run and led by the most knowledgeable professionals who are experts in working with people of all fitness levels. Our classes are diverse but integrative — choose your sport, define your goals and tailor your Crooked River CrossFit experience to meet your personal needs.

FUNDAMENTALS

Our Fundamentals is designed for our newest members. It’s an informational and instructional program for anyone trying CrossFit for the first time. We slow down our usual pace to guide you through the basic movements and core stability exercises, get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique, and get your body primed to join our group classes. Fundamentals is designed to ensure your success; we cover everything from our programming philosophy, proper exercise modifications and scaling, and regulating individual intensity.

It’s the best way to start your CrossFit journey and to get ramped up and prepped for our regular group classes. Because the Fundamentals program one on one with one of our professional CrossFit coaches, they have plenty of opportunity to help you work on technique and get to know your unique goals and needs. Fundamentals consists of 5-20 one on one sessions depending on your goals.  Do you have a friend who would be interested in working out with you?  We can do a 1 on 2 sessions as well!

CROSSFIT GROUP CLASSES

The backbone of the program is traditional CrossFit workouts, focusing on strength, conditioning, and mobility. These workouts combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and duration to create unparalleled results. From the basic (but all-important) air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Our personal training sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals, whether you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, or an experienced athlete looking to become a more well-rounded athlete with specialized, individual training. Sign up for our personal training sessions where one of our world-class coaches will work with you to help define your goals, develop a specific program and be your personal guide. Each session is designed just for you with a set of eyes on you at all times to ensure you’re getting value out of every one of those minutes.

CRC ENDURANCE

Our Endurance program puts a high priority on running technique, athletic coordination, balance and relative/absolute strength and the teaching of essential muscular movement patterns. These are vital in establishing an athletic foundation for improved performance, injury prevention, and long-term enjoyment of sports participation. These sessions are designed to prepare all levels of athletes to improve their cardiovascular endurance. This class provides excellent running technique instruction combined with body weight and lifting movements to build lean muscle mass and teach superior efficiency in movement cycle to create fast, durable, long-lasting athletes.

CRC NUTRITION

Nutritional counseling is tailored specifically to meet your needs and maximize results as you work towards your goals. We make what most people find to be the hardest part of fitness simple and flexible. We’ll work together to find the right set point for you as a unique individual, and teach you how to make your body and food work for you as a coordinated system. CrossFit as a workout regimen is proven to provide superior results over the typical gym routine; dialing in nutrition boosts results not only in body composition but also rate of recovery so that your work capacity increases dramatically.

CRC YOGA

CRC Yoga is our restorative yoga and mobility class geared towards CrossFitters and strength athletes. Flexibility is a key element to a wellness regimen that is often overlooked. Yoga classes will complement your workouts and lifting sessions. Mobility and flexibility are heavily emphasized, with a strong focus on core strength for stability and balance to help you move in and out of lifts with greater ease.
